This mixed media collage was given to Anthe by the Holy Spirit, based on Proverbs 3:5-6 — 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.' The composition features palm trees flanking a winding path that splits into two straight paths at the back, birds of paradise in the foreground, water elements on each side, and spiritual symbolism of divine guidance and trust. The imagery was drawn with a paint marker underneath the collage and sat for a couple of years during her thought process of how to develop it. Through prayer, God showed her how to begin. When asked about it this is what Anthe had to say, “ I started working on this piece at my old location but hit a wall. When I moved to my new location, it was the first piece I worked on and came to fruition immediately in the freedom of that new space — truly reflecting the piece's meaning about trusting the path. Created using ripped, torn, and cut pieces of paper from a myriad of sources: packing materials form the tree trunks, bright cut papers form the branches with fronds, wrapping papers create the pathway, and miniature seashells are glued throughout the foreground to complete this layered collage and fulfill God's vision given to me. “
